What Women Can Teach You: Lessons from Women Leaders at Granimals

Women Leaders at Work
This is some text inside of a div block.

At Granimals, we're not just reshaping the rehabilitation industry; we are empowering people to heal, grow, and thrive. Our mission is clear: to offer innovative injury rehabilitation with a team that reflects the best of empathy, strength, and intelligence.

And here's something we're incredibly proud of—52% of our team comprises women. These women aren’t just part of our workforce; they are leading the charge in marketing, HR, physiotherapy, and more.

Our Growing Impact: Women at the Core of Granimals
Since January, our team has grown from 23 to 105 members, and it’s the women of Granimals who continue to lead the race. When we started, 74% of our workforce were women, and while that percentage has balanced out, the leadership and contributions of our female innovators remain unmatched.

Take, for example, Tina Thomas, our first female physiotherapist and a trailblazer in setting the standards of care at Granimals. Tina's empathy and expertise have not only helped build the team but also transformed the way we approach injury rehabilitation.

Or Shruti Joshi, our Creative Director, who brings her creative vision to life while balancing personal challenges with remarkable strength.
Or Nidhi Sharma , our Senior Human Resources Associate, who has been instrumental in creating policies that foster a healthy work-life balance for all employees.

Navisha, our Senior ORM Associate, is the guardian of our online voice. Her passion for maintaining an authentic and positive digital presence makes sure that everything we put out reflects who we truly are.

Bhumika, our Associate Brand Manager, is a force to be reckoned with. She doesn’t just manage our brand—she breathes life into it, ensuring every touchpoint resonates with our audience.

Aameya along with Shruti , our dynamic designers are the creative minds behind our visuals. Together, they transform ideas into beautiful designs that not only look good but tell a story.

Pranjali &  Megha, our talented content writers, don’t just write—they create stories that inspire. With every word, they bring our mission to life in ways that truly connect with our audience.

And the list goes on & on & on!

These women, and so many others at Granimals, show us daily what it means to break barriers and redefine success in traditionally male-dominated industries.

Testimonials: Culture That Empowers
The women at Granimals are not just employees; they are our backbone.

Shruti Joshi, reflecting on her journey with us, says, “Granimals has not only allowed me to pursue my passion but has brought me closer to my purpose. Here, women lead, inspire, and innovate not by chance but by choice.”

Similarly, Megha Rathi, another one of our brilliant physiotherapists remarks, “In our field, empathy is everything. Granimals has created an environment where the care we offer comes from understanding the whole person, not just the injury. As women, we bring that extra layer of compassion to every interaction.”

Nidhi Sharma shares, “The inclusive culture at Granimals makes me excited to come to work every day. I’ve found a place where my ideas are heard, my work is valued, and I’m encouraged to grow both professionally and personally.”

3 Lessons We’ve Learned from Women at Granimals

Emotional Intelligence
Women naturally bring higher levels of emotional intelligence and empathy, which are crucial in our care-driven industry. Our female physiotherapists, who make up 90% of the therapy team, often build lasting connections with clients because they truly understand the emotional and physical toll of injuries. This ability to deeply connect not only fosters better patient outcomes but also drives client referrals through word of mouth.

Loyalty
Both personally and professionally, women demonstrate an incredible commitment to making relationships work. When challenges arise — whether it’s about performance or processes — our female leaders go all-in to find solutions. This loyalty creates a partnership dynamic within our team, where everyone strives to make things work.

Purpose-Driven Work
Women at Granimals don’t just see their roles as jobs; they see them as a mission. Whether they’re in marketing, HR, or on the frontlines as female physiotherapists, they are driven by a deep sense of purpose — to change lives. This purpose is embedded in everything we do, from the way we treat patients to how we build our company culture.
